YORKSHIRE BAPTIST ASSOCIATION & FRESH STREAMS DAY OF PRAYER & FASTING
On Thursday, 27th March, 2025, the YBA will be joining with Fresh Streams and other Associations across our Baptist family for a day of prayer and fasting day. This year, we’re bringing this special event online, giving us the unique opportunity to connect with others both regionally and nationally from the comfort of our own homes.
Spurgeon famously said that prayer is the engine room of the church: we want to fuel that engine. We will be praying, among other things, for our Baptist Movement, our mission so that people will encounter Jesus and surrender their lives to follow him; growing our confidence to share the gospel; the Everyone Everywhere initiative. We’ll also be praying for our Association and churches as well as for the impact of Project Violet.
Session Times
9:00-10:00 AM – National Prayer Focus
We’ll begin the day with national-focused prayer hosted by Fresh Streams. Afterward, we’ll break into smaller groups to continue praying with others from the YBA.
12:00-12:30 PM – YBA Prayer Session
We will connect together as the YBA for prayer
4:00-4:30 PM – National Prayer Focus
We’ll gather once more to pray together, hosted by Fresh Streams. Afterward, we’ll join mixed breakout rooms with others from across our Baptist family.
